WELCOME TO LAGANON

In ancient Greek LAGANON is a kind of thin and wide pasta made of olive oil and flour. The word laganon is believed that passed to the Latins and then to us as "Lasagna". From this ancient Greek word we inspired and named our restaurant.
Owners of the restaurant are Maria and Antigone Vidakis as well as Papakosmopoulos Panagiotis (Maria's husband).
Our parents studied in Genova, Italy and every Sunday they used to make fresh pasta with their landowner for the "family dinner". This is where we got the idea!
That being said we have to add that there should have been already something in our DNA...You see our grandfather Ioannis Thomadakes was the owner of the "Nylon" restaurant one of the most pioneering restaurants in Chania.
